Beginning Sea Kayaking & Safety SK101
The course is designed to give you an introduction to the fundamentals of sea kayaking and is recommended if you want to take Kayak Academy additional courses.
You will learn basic paddle strokes including bracing, wet exit, rescues and beginning boat handling skills. Dry suit and/or wetsuit
are provided. Kayak rental reduced lesson fee: $25.00

Get In & Go! Introduction to Paddling with a short tour to Issaquah Creek
Learn safety with a wet exit, basic manuever strokes for touring kayak, recreational kayaks and sit on tops.

Cost: $95.00 includes kayak with related gear. Rain or shine. Wet or dry suits available.
Youth Education Field Trips
Youth Education Field Trips- explore waterways and waterworks with your students.
Basic safety and paddle skills are provided.
Single and double sit-on-tops kayaks available.
Duration: 2.5 Hours
Class Size: 8 Person Minimum
Prerequisite: Must be able to swim
Cost: $20.00 per person. Teacher's cost is included in the price per person.
